EG signs College of Eng. & Petroleum MEP Contract

The Engineering Group has recently signed with Metallurgical Cooperation of China Ltd (MCC). 
(in association with M/s Khaled Al Kharafi & Bros Co) for supply installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of complete MEP works for the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Sabah Al Salem University City.

The MEP works include HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting, Lighting, Power, Low Voltage System, BMS System, Air Pollution Control System, Compressor Air & Vacuum System, Hazardous Gas Detection & Alarm System, Solar Water Heating System, Steam Generation and Distribution system, LPG System, Deionized Water System etc.

The Project comprises of Men’s Campus, women’s campus, Oasis, Mosque Annexe and an underground car parking with a total approximate floor area 300,000 M2.

The total Project cost is KD 142 Million, and project duration is 1,280 days.

The Automotive Group was established in 1947 when the Group first introduced Chrysler vehicles to the Kuwaiti market. In 1972 the Group further expanded its presence in the Kuwaiti automobile market by being the first to introduce Mitsubishi to Kuwait as well as the Middle East. A revolutionary breakthrough in the Kuwaiti automobile market took place in 2006 when Al Mulla Group and Behbehani Motors formed a joint venture for the distribution of all Chrysler International brands: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep. The joint venture, known as Al Mulla & Behbehani Motor Company grew even further in 2010 with the acquisition of exclusive distribution rights for the Fiat and Alfa Romeo brands.
