Almulla Group's presence in Financial Services commenced in 1978 when it started the Instalment Credit Activity as a support for its trading activities especially for automobiles.Over the years, the business has grown to address the financing needs of its customers for purchase of all kinds of products and covers most major dealers/merchants in Kuwait.

In 1985, the group commenced Insurance Related Services by acquiring the Kuwait Agency for Oriental Insurance Co.of India, one of the largest companies in India. The Group further expanded into insurance related services by operating a brokerage house in 1993 for Insurance and Re-insurance services in joint venture with C. E. Heath PLC (now Heath Lambert) of U.K, leading LIoyd's brokers.

In March 2001, the group commenced Money Exchange operations to provide top of the range money transfer facilities for the considerable expatriate population in Kuwait through correspondent arrangement with leading banks worldwide.
