Since 1985, the Group has acted as Chief Agents for the Oriental Insurance Company, a leading Indian general insurer. This association has gained strength at a phenomenal pace over the years to the point where today Oriental is one of the biggest foreign insurance companies operating in Kuwait.

The Insurance agency provides a wide range of insurance covers to various divisions of the Group. In addition, the Agency services the market for their insurance requirements. The main insurance products are listed below:

Fire, Burglary and Allied Perils Insurance
This provides protection against loss or damage due to fire or lightning, theft and other Perils such as but not limited to storm, tempest, flood, water damage earthquake, explosion, strikes, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage etc.

Business Interruption Insurance
The object is to restore the business to the financial position that would have been achieved had the Perils been insured against the unforseen events. To make use of the benefits of this

Householders' Comprehensive Insurance
This is an insurance cover on buildings of private residences or flats, domestic offices, storages, outdoor houses, landlords fixtures and fittings and their contents. It compensates for any loss or damage to the interests insured caused as a result of fire, theft and other such perils.

Money Insurance (Money in Transit and Safe)
This provides coverage for Money in transit or in any locked safe or strong room including money in the premises during working hours.

Fidelity Guarantee Insurance
Protection is provided against loss of Money or Goods or Systems caused by the infidelity/fraud committed by employees.

Workmen's Compensation Insurance
This covers the employer's liability for compensation as a result of his employees suffering bodily injury or death due to work related accidents arising out of and in the course of performance of his employment.

Personal Accident Insurance
This compensates an individual or his legal heirs in case the insured suffers death or bodily injury due to accident .

Third Party Liability Insurance
This covers the Insured's legal liability in respect of bodily injury and property damage towards third parties and happening in connection with the Insured's business at the premises or elsewhere within the State of Kuwait.

Contractors All Risks/Erection All Risks Insurance
Indemnity will be provided for sudden and unforeseen total or partial damage to the Contract/Erection works during the period of insurance. The policy also providers indemnity towards third party Claims.

Contractor's Plant, Equipment and Machinery Insurance
Indemnity will be provided for sudden and unforeseen physical loss or damage to the construction machinery and equipment as well as the related plant.

Marine Cargo Insurance
This compensates for loss of or damage to the insured goods during transportation from one place to another, whether by air-vessel or by truck due to the happening of an insured peril on an All Risks or Basic Cover basis.

Motor Insurance (Third Party + Comprehensive)
This indemnifies the insured's legal liability to third parties for injury or damage to property and/or to compensate for the loss of or damage to the insured vehicle by fire or theft or other accidental damages.
