Offering short and long-term solutions for vehicles, the Rental & Leasing Group is responsible for the operation of two major companies, both of which are leaders in their respective markets: Al Mulla Rental & Leasing Company in Kuwait and Select Transportation Solutions in Qatar. With a single-minded goal to become the largest rental and leasing company in the Middle East, the R&L Group is currently in the process of an ambitious expansion of its operations to other countries in the region.

From the time it was first established in 1976, Al Mulla Rental & Leasing of Vehicles and Heavy Equipment Company (AMRL) has evolved to become one of the largest car rental companies in the Gulf region. We operate a fleet of over 9,000 vehicles with 22 well-spread branches in convenient locations across Kuwait, including Kuwait International Airport as well as major hotels. Currently, AMRL employs around 600 employees and operates 3 used car showrooms and 3 service centers.

The division manages a steady rental and leasing operation under the brand name ARABA, operating a fleet equipped with the latest vehicles that cater different market segments. The service provides short-term rentals, long-term leases, Individual Leasing Program as well as chauffeur-driven cars and 24-hour breakdown services. AMRL also offers leasing facilities for heavy equipment and refrigerated trucks catering to the transport, food supply, and construction sectors.

Al Mulla Select Used & Certified Vehicles is the premium arm of our used and certified vehicles division, with 3 showrooms across Kuwait. Offering a wide selection of company-maintained Japanese, American, European and Korean vehicles under the ‘Select’ brand, the service provides an extended warranty of up to two years on used and certified vehicles.

To support this division, AMRL owns and operates 3 full-fledged Service Centers located in Shuwaikh, Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah, which are all managed to meet ISO 9001:2000 standards for service.
