Hormuzda Davar is the Managing Director for the Trading, Manufacturing & Financial Services Divisions at Al Mulla Group, a leading diversified privately held business group based in the State of Kuwait.

Hormuzda joined Al Mulla Group in May 2005, as General Manager-Finance. He worked his way up to his current position in 10 years with the Group. In his current position, he looks after two main Business Groups; Trading & Manufacturing, and Financial Services, and is a Board Member for three KSCC Subsidiaries within the Group. He also oversees the SAP implementation for the different Business Groups using SAP as their Business Software.

Hormuzda is a Chartered Accountant from India, with 38 years’ post qualification experience in diverse industries such as Petroleum Refining and Marketing, Garments Manufacturing and Exports, Logistics, Hospitality, Non-Banking Financial Services, Insurance, Trading and Manufacturing. Throughout his career, Hormuzda has gone beyond Finance and Accounts, to take charge of Businesses and use the power of Information Technology as also Continuous Improvement to provide customers of these businesses a compelling reason to be loyal, and thereby ensure continuous and profitable growths of the businesses. He was also the Chairman of the Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
