Offering short and long-term transport solutions, the Rental & Leasing Group manages two major companies; both of which are leaders in their respective markets: Al Mulla Rental & Leasing Company in Kuwait and Select Transportation Solutions in Qatar. With the objective to become a leading rental and leasing company in the Middle East, the Rental & Leasing Group is in the process of an ambitious expansion of its operations to other countries in the region.

From the time it was first established in 1976, Al Mulla Rental & Leasing Company (AMRL) has evolved to become one of the largest car rental companies in the Gulf region. The company operates a fleet of over 9,000 vehicles in Kuwait with 12 well-spread branches in convenient locations across the country, including the Kuwait International Airport as well as major hotels. Currently, AMRL employs over 600 personnel and operates used car showrooms and service centers.

AMRL also manages a distinct rental and leasing operation under the brand name ARABA Leasing, running a fleet equipped with the latest vehicles which cater to different market segments. The service provides short-term rentals, long-term leases, private leasing as well as chauffeur-driven cars and 24-hour breakdown services. AMRL also offers leasing facilities for heavy equipment, trucks and refrigerated vehicles catering to the transport, food supply, and construction sectors.

Al Mulla SELECT Used & Certified Vehicles is the company’s premium trading arm with a network of showrooms across Kuwait offering a wide selection of company-maintained Japanese, American, European, Korean and Chinese vehicles under the ‘Select’ brand. The service provides an extended warranty of up to two years on used and certified vehicles.

To support its activities, AMRL owns and operates 3 full-fledged service centers located in Shuwaikh, Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah, and are all managed meeting ISO 9001:2000 standards for service.
