KCST Awards 45 Academic Scholarships to Distinguished Expatriate Students Graduating from High School in Kuwait
As part of its unwavering commitment to support the educational goals and future aspirations of distinguished academic achievers, Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST), an affiliate of Al Mulla Group, and the leading private university in Kuwait since 2015, proudly sponsored 45 full and partial scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, in its 6th consecutive year, aims to open new opportunities for the elite top achievers of high school graduates in Kuwait, including expatriate students, by giving them access to an exceptional educational experience at KCST, one of the top private academic institutions for advanced engineering sciences and cybersecurity technologies. It also aligns well with the Al Mulla Group’s (CSR) policies, which focus on supporting community development and empowering young talents to thrive in today’s competitive job market and prepare them to face tomorrow’s challenges.
This year, KCST has witnessed an astonishing increase in the number of applications for the university’s scholarship program from the graduating top achievers in the high school classes of 2025. At the end of the submission period, KCST received over 60 qualified applications, which is reflective of the growing trust that KCST has gained over the years in the minds of future scholars, as the university of choice for advanced engineering sciences and future technologies. After carefully screening all applications against the prerequisite conditions, KCST offered 45 scholarships to qualified applicants in different disciplines.
Commenting on this year’s scholarship program, the President of KCST, Professor Khalid Al-Begain, said: “Kuwait College of Science and Technology is pleased to announce the award of 45 Merit Scholarships for the Academic Year 2025/26 to students from 12 different nationalities. This strategic program marks the continuation of KCST's fulfillment of its social responsibility to all residents in Kuwait for the 6th consecutive year. We are particularly delighted to welcome students of 3 new nationalities (Algeria, India, and the Philippines) to join their colleagues from the 21 other nationalities already studying at KCST.” He added, “Our ongoing partnerships with Al Mulla Group, as well as various leading educational institutions in the region, enable us to expand our academic offerings and foster a diverse, inclusive community that empowers students from numerous backgrounds to reach their full potential.”
Scholarship recipients this year reflect a truly diverse and multicultural academic community, with awardees representing more than twelve different nationalities, including students from Kuwait’s local communities, as well as from Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Yemen, India, the Philippines, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. This diversity enriches KCST’s academic environment, fostering cross-cultural understanding and preparing students to thrive in an interconnected global economy. The variety of backgrounds and experiences brought by these talented scholars not only strengthens KCST’s reputation as a leading hub for advanced engineering sciences and technologies but also reflects Al Mulla Group’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity in education.
